Student Spotlight - Keegyn Fields

Congratulations to UK Natural Resources and Environmental Science major Keegyn Fields, who participated this summer in the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates program!

Keegyn's REU, Ecohydrology of Tropical Montane Forests, was hosted by Texas A&M University. It included 5 weeks at the Texas A&M Soltis Center for Research and Education in Costa Rica. Keegyn's project investigated the effects of land use change on soil respiration rates and organic carbon accumulation across aggregate sizes.
