Connie Sizemore serves farmers in Leslie County by managing the Conservation District office, but her passion lies with teaching the youngest citizens about the environment.
Susan Brown is a Conservation Education Specialist at Boone County Conservation District. Her passion for the environment has followed her all her life, and she’s always pursued jobs and activities that let her spend the most time outdoors and helping people understand and connect with the environment around them.
Currently, the Graduate Coordinator and an Associate Professor at Murray State University, Dr. Guffey has lived and breathed agriculture throughout her life. Since working on a farm at a very young age, her passion for agriculture has only grown over the years.
As Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, it is Dr. Farrel's responsibility to promote awareness of DEI throughout the campus faculty, staff, and students. Through webinars (among other mediums), Dr. Farrel encourages people to have courageous conversations around understanding and awareness.
Lindie has been the Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent for Pendleton Co. for nearly five years, and she loves the flexibility and creativity needed to develop new programs. Traditionally, this has not been a career held by women, but about 25 percent of the ANR agents for Kentucky are currently female. That number is growing.
Becky’s primary education responsibilities include developing and presenting lessons about soybeans to students and working with teachers interested in teaching soybeans. She also manages the regional research program, serves on various committees and agriculture organizations, and performs general office duties.
While women had been in 4-H and Family and Consumer Science agent roles for quite some time, Carol was one of the first female Agriculture agents in Kentucky. She came from a farming family in Hardin County and studied Agriculture Economics – Farm Management at the University of Kentucky.
Tyler is a three-time graduate of UK, earning his bachelor's and master’s degrees in agricultural economics and a doctorate in sociology. During his time as a student, he earned several internships with a varied set of companies and organizations, such as UK Cooperative Extension Farm Analysis, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Economic Research Service, ConAgra Foods, John Deere, and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
Nancy Cox is the Vice President for Land-Grant Engagement and Dean of the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment. Nancy started her career in agriculture 22 years ago and has previously been the Associate Dean for Research and the Agricultural Experiment Station.
Tucker is currently an Agricultural and Biological Engineering instructor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as the Assistant Director of Education for the Center for Digital AG (CDA) and The Artificial Intelligence for Future Agricultural Resilience, Management, and Sustainability Institute (AIFARMS).
Ashley Osborne is the Extension Specialist for 4-H Youth Development and has been for the past 7 years. Prior to that, Ashley was an Extension Associate for Environmental and Natural Resources Issues at the University of Kentucky for 13 years.
Josh Mitcham is an agri-tourism owner, artist, and musician that owns Jericho Woods, BigHead Studios, and The Randall Barn while also serving as Director of KY FFA Leadership Training Center and being a part of the Kentucky Department of Education.
Bradon Burks is the Director of Education at the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association and has been with KCA since December 2021. Prior to that, Bradon worked as a Leadership Consultant for a nonprofit and attended Western Kentucky University and majored in Agricultural Education and Sales.
