Animal and Food Sciences Alumni Scholarship

Charity Moore, a senior majoring in Animal Sciences with an Agricultural Economics minor, is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Animal and Food Sciences Alumni Scholarship. She grew up on a grain farm in Germantown, Ohio and has been involved in the beef cattle industry since childhood. At a young age Charity was bitten by the livestock showing bug and began exhibiting cattle at shows as part of her involvement in 4- H and FFA. As a college student, she continues to raise and show beef cattle to promote her family's farm. Charity is a member of Block and Bridle, Sigma Alpha and Collegiate Farm Bureau. She is a 2024-25 Martin-Gatton CAFE ambassador. Upon graduation, Charity plans on to have a career in the beef cattle industry.
